I’ve never been able to capture a good night photograph but the tutor’s tips really helped and I feel that I learn lots in the space of a few hours. I’ve attached a couple of shots I got that night, I loved the China Town lights and trying to get reflections in the puddles and will definitely be trying out the shutter speed light trails again (and investing in a tripod). “I’d like to say how much I enjoyed the Street Safari on Saturday. It was a friendly group, such good fun & I learned loads! Having read manuals for the past few months and not absorbing much info, when I re-read them on the day following the safari, much of it became clear and made more sense. We are booked on the beginners course in March which, in hindsight, probably would have been better if we’d done this first. However, the tutor patiently explained how to use the camera for the situations we were in. His tips were interesting and useful although I missed many of them as I was too busy taking photos!”- Nicki

“Just wanted to drop you a line following the Street Safari experience. I thought it was an excellent session and perfectly combined a nice relaxed atmosphere with a steady paced tour of Manchester. Even the rain seemed to help with capturing people running from the showers near the Triangle and making use of reflections in the puddles. The tuition was excellent and once I’d got into the right frame of mind about looking ahead to anticipate things that might happen and making use of reflections and colour then I was in my element! A fantastic course and really looking forward to the night course and I’ve also booked in for the beginners course which should be great. Thanks again and see you soon.” – Ashley
