~ a special evening at Manchester Photographic Gallery ~
To kick-start The Stone Roses weekend at Heaton Park, there will be a special event at Manchester Photographic Gallery (Dale Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester). On Thursday 28th June, John Robb will be celebrating the launch of his book, The Stone Roses and will also be in conversation with photographer, Ian Tilton on the night.
Ian is currently exhibiting a collection of his photos, as well as a slide show of 500 unseen images of The Stone Roses, at the gallery. John and Ian have known each other for nearly 40 years and have worked together as journalist/photographer on numerous occasions. Both have had a close relationship with the Roses since the early days.
The Stone Roses book launch starts at 6.30pm, with the talk/Q&A starting at 8pm John will be signing copies of his book, which will be available to buy on the night. Complimentary drinks will be served.
